Tutu Bag = too, too cute
I saw these bags at a craft show. So cute! I didn't buy any but thought they would make cute gifts for the little girls in my life. I accordion-folded the tulle and pinned it. Then sewed the ribbon on. I attached a flower (not shown) where the seam on the ribbon was in the front. For less than the cost of one bag, I made 4!
Merry Christmas
I made this sign out of scrap wood, a PVC pipe wrapped in red duct tape and an ornament hot-glued to the top. I painted the wood, used a Sharpie for the letters along with some white accent paint and glitter to finish it off. It's one of my favorite (and least expensive) Christmas decorations!
Domino Necklaces
Super-cute and easy to make!
Take one domino and trace it onto scrapbooking paper. Think BIG - the possibilities are endless! Cut the paper and mod podge onto the domino and on top of the paper. File the edges so it takes off the excess paper and gives it a clean look. I made these for a high school band booster fund raiser. I used stickers and small rhinestones attached with E6000 craft adhesive. Jewels, crosses, all kinds of stickers, intials - you name it, these are custom-made!
For the top coat and shiny finish, I use Glossy Accents - clear, dimensional embellishment. Use a small dab of E6000 to attach the top bead and then (viola!) thread your necklace piece through the bead.
